Parental Involvement

At our school we are continually encouraged by the interest shown by the parents.  You can help in so many ways by your encouragement and involvement in all aspects of your child’s work and school activities.  A recent survey suggested that helpful parental interest and involvement was a very important factor in determining the extent to which a learner realises his/her full potential at school.

Most learners are happiest when they are able to conform, whether it is in items of clothing, involvement in some class activity, or even attitudes shared by a class group.  Your willingness and encouragement of your child to be an active member of the class and school will have a very important effect on the benefit he/she derives from the time spent here.

Enrolment of your child in this school will be taken as an indication that you accept the approach and attitude outlined in this handbook, and that you are prepared to encourage your child to accept the standards required.
